Located in the heart of Benson at 2740 North 61st Street in Omaha, Veg.Edible is a woman-owned take out eatery serving your favorite comfort food classics made vegan, gluten-free and nut-free (except coconut) with soy-free options. We believe that everyone should be able to enjoy fresh, flavorful food regardless of allergies or dietary preferences.

100% VEGAN
100% means 100%. Ingredients do not contain any animal products or bi-products such as: meat, dairy, lactose, whey, fish, shellfish, egg, honey or gelatin. Our sugar is free of bone char. We use common spellings for "bacon" and "cheese" but don't be fooled, it's all plants!

ALL GLUTEN-FREE
Yes, all of it. We do not make anything that ISN'T GF. We do not use gluten or 'may contain wheat' in any ingredient. All of our equipment is dedicated gluten-free. Learn more about our production kitchen and food handling protocol below.

NUT-FREE
No peanuts or tree nuts (except coconut) here. We do use coconut in almost every recipe and occasionally use sesame.

SOY-FREE OPTIONS
We do use soy in our kitchen but always have soy-free options that are clearly marked. Our dedicated fryer has a soy-free basket. We use canola oil and always watch out for soy lecithin. ALL baked goods are soy-free!
